Go into the BIOS mate and you should find an option for 'stop on errors' the option to ignore no floppy drive may be in there or it may be a separate option the says 'Ignore no floppy drive' have a look, you'll find it!

usually f1 f2 or delete that you hold down. just keep trying each until you have success.

for me it's delete.

you may just be able to rearrange your boot sequence.

first boot device:floppy
second boot device:master hdd
third boot device:cd/dvd drive.

try setting first boot device to master hdd (goes by name coding) that might help.

just try without floppy installed.

to add also to enter your bios setup it will tell you in the manual for your mobo.

And it will also help avoiding boot viruses (if you DO have a FDD).

By the way, if you do have a floppy installed, check the ribbon cable connection to the FDD, it might be in the wrong position.
