Overclocking locked 2500+

I've just ordered a Barton 2500+ along with a Spire WhisperRock IV heatsink fan.

I now that this processor may be all locked up, but shouldn't I be able to change the FSB up to 200mhz and running the processor at 2200mhz without any problems?

as far as i know...you should be able to...

they locked the multipliers but not the FSB

the FSB can easily be changed on the CPU still

yea i over clocked my 2500 with a asus a7n8x deluxe with 2 stiks of 2700 ram 512 mb each to a 3200 and it works same heat almost and PERFECT!

there should be some options to change to unlock the multyplayer but u should be able to change fsb
