Which is faster? FX5700Ultra or FX5900?

I just want to make sure I'm correct...I haven't had enough sleep today.

Okay, yeah I remember because the FX5900 has a 256bit memory bus while the 5700 Ultra only has a 128bit bus. I remember the reason I was right. Damned if I don't get more than 3 hours of sleep.

LMAO, I just realized that too. With it's higher clock speeds, the FX5700 Ultra actually outperforms the FX5900 non-Ultra in low-quality, low-resolution gaming. The higher memory bus of the FX5900 only shines as the demand on the video card increases.

Yeah, even ti 4xxx outperformed radeon 9500/9700 at low res on old game engines, but they drop far slower than the tis.

acutaly i think it does but they made it slower on pupose... wanna know how? they skimped on the cooling... the gpu auto clocks down when hot... wouldn't thats give it lower scores in highrer reses were the gpu works harder? just a thoght....

it faster clock and yet has alot less cooling then it's counterparts...
