Default Post Not so sure about that... yet anyways

N-Force1 was impressive at first, but was plagued with problems and was underperforming. We can say nothing about N-Force2 until it is on a mobo. Funny how THG labels their last page "Conclusion: The Winning Scores". The question to ask ourselfs is : WHAT FREAKIN SCORES. (sorry some anti-thg frustration)

Anyway, I would remain skeptical with ...
A) The specs because they can change.
B) The mobo manufactures because they might bend corners
C) THG because of this Article that doesn't have any details of real life statistics

.... but then again, I hope this really is the chipset AMD needs to compete with Intel properly (VIA's chipsets are really starting to annoy me)!

I like VIA Chipsets in general... But my IWill XP333 has an ALi Magik1 Chipset and it rocks.

I'm sorry, but I'm really tired of the VIA hate that a lot of people seem to have.

They are good chipsets. And I love hacing the peace of mind that is 4-in-1.

The 4-in-one's are not that bad, but when it comes to Windows XP, it really really stinks. I'm sorry, but for a company like VIA that can't seem to fix simple problems, but where a person like George Breeze (http://www.viahardware.com) pretty much fixes all there HDD seek time/read time issues and he also fixed the PCI latency problem they cause with SBLive and Audigy Soundcards,... they don't even give credit to this guy and they don't even take a moment to think that this guy might be 10 time better at writting drivers than the rest of the silly team they have. Sorry, but I've got a lot agains't VIA (yes they make cheap stuff but if it wasnt for George, hell 'id say VIA would be shit!). And I am not joking! My 2 cents (in a drunken stupor)
