Computer hangs
My friends computer is being very wierd. He have had for about two years now and got it to a repair shop and they couldn't fix the problem.
It hangs in heavy applications. When playing games, it goes OK for 10 minutes, then it hangs. When trying again it goes for 7 minutes. And again it goes for 5 minutes, and so on. Anyway it's a P4 2 Ghz processor....that's unfortunely all I now ![]() The processor is 55 degres celsius AFTER some a couple of hours playing games. He couldn't get the fullload temp. Don't know the case temp. but that could be pretty high too. He reported the core voltage to be 1.38, which I think sound very low. The only P4 2ghz processor I've found is at 1.475, 1.500 or 1.750 v. My theory is that the processor gets to hot or get to little juice. |

Well I haven't seen the computer in person, just be told that the computer does some pretty bad stuff.
It's been reinstalled, with latest drivers...latest with everything in software that is. Same problem. I don't know anything more about the hardware. Could be a heat problem.....or not
