Owners of Liteon DVDR 401s/411s, good news!
Hello all,
I just wanted to let you know that thanks to a fella called Zebra we now have a working mod to flash this cheap 4x burner into an 8x !!  The files to download are to be found here http://www.speedlabs.tk/ And here you can read the monster thread about it http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=9&t=3591 Obviously take all the precautions when flashing the drive, there is always a small chance it could go dead.

I have just flashed mine, a 401s, and I'm happy to report that the drive now burns at 8x even on 4x DVD+R media !!
It took about 8 and a half minutes to burn 4.4GB of data.
