I need to know I have agp slot open and pci slot open which one is best for it. And ati again or skip or go nvidia for new card. I'm willing pay up 125 bucks up for a new card pleased help me deicide need to know by when nhl2003 comes out in mid Step. Looking for 64mb card.

Yeah, what he said. Either a GF4 ti4200 for about $120 or a nice retail 128MB 8500 for about the same, both are sweet cards. I'd probably hold off or pick up a used 8500 or GF3 somewhere to hold me over until the NV30-35 & 9700.
![]() BTW-I hope you were joking about the PCI or AGP question, AGP is the only route to go in that situation.

I'd say go with a GeForce 4 (Not an MX if you plan on gaming). If your an ATI fan go with the 8500 128mb ram, pretty much what digitalwanderer said. Always buy cards for an AGP slot because it will be very hard to find a PCI card plus it will run about 4 time slower. Also with an AGP card you get a nice fan on it since it's able to give off more power (Just to let you know). Another thing to think about is a faster graphics card won't be able to give off more power with a slow processor, the processer is the cards limit (mostly). The processer is the only thing you really need to be concerned about when buying a GPU.
