OK, as some of you are aware I am going to buy an Athlon XP 2100 or 2200 in the near future. Now I've heard that Athlons tend to heat up quite a bit so should I use regular stock cooling or should I buy this heatsink at CompUSA? Check the link and tell me what you think of it. http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...ct_code=288623

I recommend the Thermalright AX7 or an Alpha Pal8045

The one that we have in the store for $19. It is the same as the HSF that come with the retail, except that it has a copper bottom. Excellent HSF, and it is quiet.

(and the MCX462 beats AX7 by 1 degree Celcius). Its funny to note, though, that the AX7 is half the price of SLK800 (also by Thermalright)
