TV Tuner -> digital
hello!
anybody know if it's possible to mod or softmod or something a normal Hauppauge TV Tuner card to recieve digital broadcasts over cable e.g.? .. or any other normal TV Tuner card for that matter.. thanks.. - mav |

No, it's not possible. They're 2 very different technologies/standards.

but there are more then a few HDTV Tuner Cards out there, some as low as $150, last time I checked that is, price mayhave changed

Oh... Lol sorry I wasn't thinking of the Set top boxes, those are a differnt, and for each provider are they use different standard from what I understand, but for digital broadcast over Air HDTV or HDTV Content on Cable you could use a HDTV Tuner Card
