99.99 8x dvd burner

Hey, I found an I/O Magic 8x internal DVD+/-R/+/-RW Drive for $99.99. Is this a good deal and drive?

make sure you have the latest firmware loaded on that drive once you get it

also its not quite a true 8x Dual Drive

Its an 8x +R with 4x -R

hey neon....other than speed...what would be problems with it not "being the best"?

research the NEC1300a. 4x burner, but very well made. very cheap too. also loads of third party firmwares online.

or heck even the NEC ND-2500A

Those burners are true full 8x Dual Drives.

Have a friend who bough one recently for about $100-120
