Default Post Windows XP & sp1 problems

when trying to install the sp1 I get an error that the product key is not valid. I thought I had a valid product code and my version is activiated by the small activation patch.

Can i just insert a new product key and where may it possible to obtain a valid one.

Best regards

Pilgrim

What made you think you had a valid key? Did you buy your copy in the store?

you have a blacklisted key, meaning its one that is a well known warez key .. probably starting in FC ...........

there are ways to change the key but this is not legal, as you are changing this key to one you havent paid for .......

if anyone wants to "help" him in PM thats fine but please dont discuss this on the forum, microsoft representatives browse this board.
