Temp difference between case temp and CPU temp
Please only post in this thread when your CPU is under 100% load and has been under 100% load for at least 1 hour.
difference is: 17C Please post and vote your temp difference between your case temp and your CPU temp: ie: case temp is 20C and CPU temp is 40C = +20 temp difference please say if your using watercooling or have a duct or no case! Extreme cooling people your not allowed to vote! please would be cool if you would also give your setup: ie what fans and what speed. I am just curious.d[/B] My setup. All vantec stealth fans and SLK947U heatsink with 80cm stealth fan. 2 intake fans and 1 out. fans at full speed but can be controlled to run even slower (ie nearly off ) difference is: 17C ohhhh this forum has no polls..... well just post then.

CPU temps are such a pain to read accurately that it is quite difficult to see differences between ambient.

Ihave a Antec 1000AMG Plus View case with 2 80 mm fans blowing out the hot air, 1 80 mm Fan in front of my hd;s and 2 in my PSU.

These are averages as I have done this many a time with different
benchmarks, games, graphics cards etc. AMD ATHLON XP 2800+ @ 2.15 ghz = 30-41C (Artic Silver Thermal compound...AMD retail box aluminum HS...80mm Vantec Tornado (roughly 90cfm) The above CPU temps vary according to game, (Painkiller raises my CPU temps the highest...for ex.)... benchmark, (mostly Aquamark03...ATI Tool...Radclocker, rthdribl, Sandra 2004 Burn-ins etc. Don't use 3DMark03 anymore, as I believe it has become basically a joke.) Graphics Cards: Gigabyte Radeon 9800 Pro 128 BBATI Radeon 9800XT 256 Full Tower aluminum case 9 x 80mm case fans ranging anywhere from 3 more Tornadoes....PC Toys Tornado (90+cfm)...to Antecs 30-45 cfm Also...Kingwin 450 watt PSU with 3-fan intake and/or exhaust 80mm (Turbo setting 24/7) Case temps usually 5-9 degrees celsius cooler than CPU |
