What manufactures supply inf files for LCD displays?

I have a Planar PL190M LCD monitor and they don't supply a .inf file.
I think that is 'strange' for a $600 monitor to have to use a generic 4 year old file from Windows. I'm running 2k (please don't try to sell me on FP, er XP either).

How many manufactures supply .inf files for their LCD monitors?

hmm im not sure that monitors REALLY need drivers… some may for extra functions, but most of the graphivs processing is done by the GPU, windows just detects refresh rates and resolutions available…

Not a driver, a .inf file to tell Windows what the monitor is what the resolutions supported and refresh rates are.
Past that, I don't know. If someone else could fill me in that would be nice.

a .inf file shows the hardware wizard where the drivers are - and generally windows will detect to resolution and refresh rates from the screen itself

Donator
Dell has them on their site and they do help. But if you can't find one for your monitor I believe you can make one using Powerstrip. It should detect the correct specs for any monitor even if windows can't.
