LiteOn 812S 8x DVD DUAL +\- DVD+R, 8xDVD-R

I'am plannig to buy on of these burners. Any one have one of those or maybe had heard something good about it??

It's also kind of cheap, round 100 $

I have one.....works just fine and I haven't had any issues with it. Though I did notice that my Lite On DVD drive does rip a DVD to my hard drive faster than the burner will.

that always happens...most ROM drives are faster then recorders

Ok, thanks Roadee, is it having problems burning DVD movies for "backup"

Anyone have any troubles with DVD Decrypter and this drive? I just got it this morning and I cannot get it to burn with dvd decrypter. Works fine with Nero though..

I haven't tried it with that one......I have been using a different program for copying it to my hard drive.....then using Nero to burn to a DVD.

That's cool, I was just wondering if I was the only one. Great drive though, extremely small and very fast(big time with cdr).
