Yes, the new AthlonXPs are going to have heat spreaders. Personally, I have mixed feelings on this. While it will help with the heat dispersal issue, it's also bound to tick off people who really like to adjust the bridges for overclocking, voltage, etc.

Looks like those pics are fakes according to overclockers.com:
"This Isn't So, Either There's a picture from a Chinese website out there purporting to be a heatspreader from a new TBred. However, the codes on the alleged heatspreader are Palomino codes, not TBred codes. For instance, all Palomino codes start with "AX" while all TBreds start with "AXDA". AGOIA is a Palomino code; the only two TBred codes we know of so far are AIRCA and AIRGA. There's also other discrepancies. It's a fake, folks. " Bold added by me.

my 2000+ is AROIA Y .13 MY 2200+ IS AXIGA Y and its the new IMPROVED .13 both very good o/cer`s and run rather cool compared to the old .13 core
