Refresh Force causes fast mouse sensitivty

I know that the problem of the 60hz refresh rate problem in Windows XP has been brought up a million times. I tried searching the forums for this answer but I had no luck.

I downloaded Refresh Force to unlock the highest possible refresh rates for my monitor on every resolution. I had it auto-populate to find those highest refresh rates and then restarted my computer. The first thing i did after i restarted was open counter-strike to try it out. I noticed that the screen was way off center so i adjusted it with my monitor. I also noticed that the sensitivty of the mouse in the menu was very high, and I went to play a game i noticed the same thing. I lowered the mouse sensitivty in game to 1 and it is still way too fast. I noticed the same thing in UT2k4.

I run Counter-strike in 640x480 and UT2k4 in 1280x1024. Im not sure if this problem has to do with the resolution or not. It's a very strange problem and it makes games like CS very unplayable. I'd rather not have to adjust the mouse sensitivty in windows because that'd be annoying to switch it back and forth every time. I disabled mouse acceleration in windows and also in CS before i used Refresh Force and it worked fine so im not sure why it should be doing this now. If i change the maximum refresh rate from 120hz to 60hz for 640x480, CS runs fine... but for a game like UT2k4 that runs at 1280x1024, which is my desktop resolution, I'd rather not have to lower it from what it is now, 75hz.

For my PC I use the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb and the Samsung SyncMaster 955DF 19". Does anyone know why this could possibly be happening and if there is an easy fix for it which doesn't require having to lower the refresh rates back to the lowest.

Not a perfect fix...

If you use the above chart and go in to regedit.exe (start/run/regedit.exe)
Now search for 'mousespeed' and for every field that you find change the keys to suit the mouse acceleration. Remeber to keep using search though as its often listed multiple times.

I do this so I've got control of the mouse in cs (800x600 @ 100) and my desktop (1280x1024 @ 75) the way I want it.

mousesensitivity = 4
mousespeed = 1
mousethreshhold1 = 4
mousethreshhold2 = 0

^^That works for me but it mightn't be suitable for everybody's setup.

Don't forget to have 'Enhanced precision' enabled if your going to do this.
Lastly, sign out from windows and back in again for the changes to become effective.
