i saw one of these... it allows you do boot up and diagnose other computer even if they don't start.. boot/beep you name it.. (even if they don't have a CPU in the bloody thing)... lets you do alot of crap.. and they are FREAKING expensive.... i held a ISA version (didn't have USB or S-Video and only a 10 Base-T ethernet and was MASSIVE.. (had very llittle ram and whatnot)...... could be wrong though.... but looks identical

looking at the sheer length of the connector down the bottom makes me think it was for a really small form factor server?

Looks definitely like some kinda of industrial solution/controller (Allan Bradley) and/or test rig (communications test station, Lucent for example) setup.

I've set up two of those fully loaded beasts (3+ Terrabytes!) for streaming video and storage for video/editing. They're a breeze to work with... And, they're really cheap for what they are (IDE drives inside - how 'bout that!).

Well it doesn't say WinXP specifically on the site, but it does say Win2000 Professional and Server, and Win2003 server.
Steve Jobs did specify Windows XP when he debuted it at Macworld, though.
