CPU Voltage question, technical

When I boot my computer and go into BIOS my vcore is 1.55. However I'm studying for A+ and in the book I have is the table below. It says that CPU's since the original Pentium basically run at 3.3V. What am I missing here? Is there some strange conversion going on or something that I am unaware of?

I dunno about that book, but the L1 cache ain't 128k on the P4 either

and I don't think they've had an 8x FSB yet

this is wrong ... www.intel.com and read it from the horses mouth. books... there are always mistakes in my IT books

yeah, my parents have a pentium 1 233 mhz which doesnt exist according to your table
