but you have all seemingly taken this post i made as an error by myself it's not my cpu with the broken pin!!!!! the pics i have posted is of an older cpu i have lying around. talk about chinese whispers!!!!! |

Hey Johny is it possible the broken pin is in the socket? Could explain why the CPU works fine with a "missing" pin. Otherwise like I forget who said, if it ain't broke don't fix it, especially hardware wise on a CPU.

The pin in question is A22 marked as reserved "used by Intel for testing only".
