Help with Buffalo Router
I just got my new Buffalo router and CardBus wireless setup this afternoon.
After spending about 5 hours getting it to work properly I have realised how little I know about networking. I need to setup the NAT routing tables to properly firewall the router but dont know how. Can anyone help? I found this very easy to do on my old netgear router but it is very confusing on this now setup. EDIT: Got it sorted. Last edited by Logla; Jun 17, 2004 at 11:58 PM. |

Must say though, this is an absolutley cracking piece of kit. - Its small, perfectly formed and is rammed full of features. I cant ever see me going back to using wired lan again.
I now have an old compaq laptop - 300MHz w/64MB and the bundled cardbus card works a treat in that. I can now finallly browse DH whilst keeping my girl company which means everyone in this house is a winner. |

It's definitely an experience if you've never messed around with wifi before when you do. I do have to say it is rather nice being able to sick back infront of the "Telly" (For Logla) and also be on-line at the same time.
