how can I burn more then 700mb on empty disc?
I tried to burn 780mb on 900mb empty disc with nero 6 but its wrote me an enternal error.
So how can I do it? should I need to change something in the settings of the software? |

File> Preferences> Expert Features, make sure Enable overburn is checked and increase the Maximum CD size as needed.

Well, it could be, A; your burner doesn't support overburning, or B; the quality of the disc you are trying to burn isn't that good.
You could try reinstalling Nero again, if you like. |

get a plextor premium cdr drive. buy a 700MB disc. use plextors special burn and voila you can have 1GB on there. not all cdrom drives can read it though.

I've looked into this before....
Nero works great for overburning normal 700mg disc (80min) to their general max at I think 730mg or 82min...Use expert features... However, awhile back I searched and bought both 90min and 99min cdr's.... very basic/generic discs... (in other words, want better quality ones....) Have overburned with both my samsung's to these discs with no hassles..... My mp3 player in the truck will track the disc and actually show a read time of 98:** meaning depending on how much data I actually crammed on there...hehehe Interesting about the plextors bein able to squish up to a gig, but I agree that you'd probalby only be able to read it on very limitied players.... Anyway's good luck ....

The 900MB disks are known for causing all kinds of errors with some burners and some software. That is why they are not very popular. |
