HP PAVILION 8630 The most Impossible Case i have ever seen LOL HELP
Im trying to get the HDD out
problem is on one side of the case i unscrewed both screws on the other side of the case i cant get to the screws what so ever as there is a metal sheet covering the hole side pannel ![]() there is a button type things that i press up but nothing is happning cant get to the dam screws no matter what i do i have never been encountered with a case like this NEVER AGAIN will i try i think i have unscrewed and took out everything apart from the motherboard and DVDROM or HDD as i cant get to the screws ![]() this is bloody annoying please i need a expert lol

but i went into a frantic state and just smashed my way though the case lol litrely bits of the case whent flying in the air also cut my hands on the metal in a few orcward places :P though i managed ot get hte HDD out but DAM i thought heward packard pre build systems where bad but even there CASES are complete nightmares LOL

I had one of those about 6 years ago - my first pc was a pavilion. It was also my last pre-built machine.
From what I can remember, the whole drive cage lifts out after pushing the button thing and undoing a couple of screws (which aren't that easy to find) Sorry I didn't see this earlier man, but I suppose you have an excuse to get a new kick ass case. |

Well... i know HP and Compaq... BIGGEST pile of packed in crap one could imagine... the cases are usually so bloody compact.. that you can't install a stick of ram without tearing the entire POS appart.... erg.. how i hate both companies.... i got the pre build system for free there is no way in hell i would even consider such a case my main system is in a thermal take zaser III super Tower with window ![]() much better case and awsome airflow for my needs ![]() but all i wanted was the HDD from that prebuild system then it was getting going in the BIN hehe managed to get the SDRAM and CPU and HSF and Sound Card and DVDROM and HDD the rest was history and bin was the best place ![]() and your right Judas what a complete compact case hehe also had one of those blowhole fans in it :P but it was a nightmare to get the hdd out ![]() i just hope no one has to go through this shit again then again they would have to be dumb to have one hehe |

Yeah... my friend spent 4 hrs trying to get a RAM stick in. Those are very compact fux0rs, my god. o_O

lol.. rasta.... although i think everyone that has to deal with these case WISHES he/she had many of those..... i doubt the costumer would be happy with "Speed" holes
