??? I/O panel (AudigyDrive)
Hey guys, I have a dumb question for you...

I was thinking 'bout upgrading from my Audigy 1 Platinum to Audigy 2 ZS, BUT I want to retain my optical input & output. I know you could connect the LiveDrive to an Audigy, but I don't think it's the same case when it comes down to A1 and A2. Something about different pin assignments..?

Anyway, does anyone know of a workaround for this "issue" so I can still connect the AudigyDrive to A2, or do I actually have to go for the Platinum version?

System Specs

there is no chance in hell that this will work… creative changed the pin arrangement unfortunately though there is some work going on in the kX forum about mapping these pins if you want to try to build your own cable, i'll provide a link if you want me to

Well, yeah, I wanna keep my optical advantages and wouldn't ask otherwise...

why not get a audigy 2 zs platinum and get a new drive too, i don't think they are all that much more expensive

Hmmm
It makes hell of a difference in price in Croatia, that's why I've opened this thread in the first place... I dunno, maybe I'll wait for a while b4 getting the ZS...
