Shameless self-pimping of another new hardware hang-out.

This place is NOT meant to be a competitor to ANYONE, it's just a place for a bunch of (well, pretty much all of us.

), the mods from RageUnderground to hang and do what we want. We had some disagreements with Lightspeed's management over at RU and decided to branch out on our own where we wouldn't be as restricted.

So consider yourselves all formally invited to come over and become an Elite Bastard. The forums are up and running, but we're pretty light on content right now. (Being bastards, none of us really took the deadlines seriously....and that's just one advantage.

)

I do believe that currently only me and Zarathustra are the only members from here over there, and I think we still have less than 30 members.

(I like the idea of a small site...it just seems more personal.

Now this in no way detracts me or Zarathustra from our commitment here at Driver Heaven, we're still here and we are staying and will continue to plug away. This is much more of an "in addition to" rather than an "instead of".

(Oh, while I'm on explanations, Zar is still site God over at RU. I'm thinking of making him have to fire me just to be a pain...anyone like the idea? [SIZE=xx-small](Sorry Zar, it's the evil-nasty guy inside of me...really.)[/SIZE]

Zarathustra has kept that place alive and kicking against all odds and under the very worst conditions I can imagine and I have nothing but respect and admiration for his abiltiy/dedications/loyalty....I'm still gonna dick with him about it though.

Damn, I meant this to be a quick "Come on over and check out the new party den! You're all invited and should feel most welcome!" type of post and it's ending up being another long one with weird formatting and lots of smilies.

I gotta run 'cause the daughter is waking from nap, but please ignore my babbling and go check out the site. All the mods there are my original homies who got me started along my path to geekdom and are some of the best/kindest/most helpful people around and I can honestly say that I love them to a man. Go melt their server!
