In need of a new case
Currently I'm using a Thermaltake 2000A. Not the best looking case and it doesn't have a window, also I need a new PSU. So, I'm hoping to sell them both as a nice little package. While my 2000A isn't the best looking fans it's packing 7 fans; 2 front, 2 rear, 2 side, 1 top. In my new case I'd like to find one that besides looking nice (hopefully has some LEDs, nice design, etc.), but that also has good cooling.

Hmm looks alright, but I think I can find better. Also, I know 120mm push a lot of air, but can 2 of them really cool a case that well? Also, thanks Vampy no ever respodns to my threads then you come along (just like my A64 thread)

no prob, glad to help
well I tell you what. I have the Antec Sonata, with just 1 case fan (and one fan in my power supply). with just the one 120mm fan, I get reasonable cooling. this is with a xp1800 Palomino (the old hot ones) in there. with a comfortable room temperature, my case temp is usually at 30 while web-surfing, and maybe 33ºC tops when gaming. with 2 120mm fans, I think cooling should be decent, if you're not overclocking much. but of course, there's no way to really predict how it will be. I'm sure there's lots of other cases out there, I just haven't looked lately. maybe try tomshardware.com, they do some case round-ups every so often.

Well that's good to hear, you've gotten rid of my cooling worries. Also, a remembered a big case round-up at THs awhile back so I revisited there and checked it out and found 2 cases I dig
Yeong Yang YY-5603: 1. Lian Li PC-V1000 2. Yeong Yang YY-5603 What do you guys think of them? So far I'm liking the Lian Li the best, but the price tag is quite steep for a case.

That toms article is very poor isnt it?, they are normally alot better, i mean look at some of the pages, 1 paragraph of text and a picture of the front of the case. you can get more information from the makers websites.

Yes, the article is a bit lacking for some of the pages, but I really don't even read it. I just look at the cases' looks, cooling, and features then make my own decision about them. I also noticed it is VERY similar to the G5 not quite the same.
Thanks for the link to the TT case, I haven't kept up on their new cases and this tsunami line looks pretty nice. Well for now it's the Lian Li or the TT Tsunami. Then once I get those I'll buy some Enermax 120mm pushing near 100cfm each .

remember, you can always cut holes for more fans exactly where you want them if a case you like doesnt have them stock

Too bad I really don't have the best tools nor the expierence to do even a half-ass job
. Either way the Tsunami has plenty of fans and while the Lian Li only has 2 120mm it has holes, the new psu positioning among other things to keep it cool. Hell if the dual G5s can get away with this case (well a clone of it basically) then I'm sure my A64 sys can.

Thanks guys. Now to save $130 or $200 for the tsunami or lian li, I'm still undecided. Once I buy it and my other upgrades I'll post picks and brag about my cpu, vid card, and overclocking them
