Well... the 2x256 Corsair XMS memory that me and CompUSA thought were forever broken, work perfectly fine now!

I did extended RAM tests and diagnostics too, and green across the board... I still don't get it, but I don't really care because now I have a gig of RAM which I've never had before, and the computer is now super fast

Well can someone give me a guide to install one? I remember doing it before from TweakXP but I bet there's another way to do it.
