Issues running XP2100 at 2100 on A7N8X Deluxe 1.04

My friend seems to be having some issues running his XP2100+ at the rated speed of a 2100+. Currently, he's stuck running it as a theoretical 1500+ because setting a FSB speed to 133 (from the current 100) causes his system to severely overheat (I believe) to the point where it locks up in BIOS.

At 133FSB before crashing, he's reporting a CPU temp of 60C in BIOS. At 100FSB, his temp varies from 45-48C and while running EverQuest it reaches 53C.

His specs are:

Enermax CS-3181L-B3A Rainbow Light (Case)
AMD XP2100+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe 1.04 - UBER BIOS 1004
Antec Truepower 430W
512MB PC2700
GeF4 ti4200 64MB

Heatsink: Coolermaster Aero 7 at Max Speed using Coolermaster paste (the Shinetsu one I believe)

Cooling setup:

Rear Exhaust - 2x 80mm 32.4cfm
Top Exhaust - not sure 80mm, stock that came with case
Side intake - 1x 80mm 53cfm
Front intake - 1x 120mm 53cfm

Not sure what to suggest as I can't look at the PC myself, I can only go off what he tells me.

Well there's a couple things. His shutdown temp is mostly likely set to 60C in the bios which is resulting in the computer shutting itself down or as he says 'crashing'. Either way for having all those case fans and a decent HSF with that cpu his temps do seem high. I'd do a couple of things. First off and most importantly take off the heatsink and make sure there isn't too much thermal paste nor too little (show him the guide on the ArticSilver site for an example of how much should be there). Next, he should check reset the heatsink but make sure it's making proper contact. Lastly I'd check the case fans and make sure all of them are working and that nothing is impeding their airflow such as lots of caked on dust or large masses of cables. Hopefully this will improve his temps. Report back with results after checking those out.
