Newbie who doesn't know nada about heat and cooling

Hola all,

After looking over my specs I am starting to worry about heat. I'm a total n00b with this stuff so I don't even know what the critical temperatures for components are. Still I'm wondering if this rig is going to run waay to hot, or if I should be fine. I am NOT planning on doing any OC'ing. All stock.

Seeing the following case/components do you guys think this rig is going to run too hot? And how hot is too hot anyways?

-Antec Sonata Case
-x800 series vid card
-Asus k8v se deluxe w/ Athlon 64 3200+ (Newcastle) CPU
-Asus Wi-Fi add-in card
-160gb Hitachi Deskstar
-SB Audigy 2
-ATI TV Wonder Pro tv-tuner card
-2 sticks of Kingston 512mb RAM
-Plextor PX-712A CDRW/DVDRW drive
-2 120mm case fans

Thanks guys.

It will be fine, especially since you do not plan to overclock. It's a good case too that Sonata. Just make sure that the CPU cooler is mounted properly. The front 120mm case fan should draw fresh air into the case and the rear 120mm case fan should push hot air out of the case.

Heat is not really an everyday problem for computers, even if it might come out that way as so many low level geeks get excited just by seeing numerical values from temperature probes in more and more locations. Simply put the system together correctly and you will not need to mind those temps.
