Meths ok for mouse?
Sup,

Whats best to clean your mouse with, as over time my mouse buttons get dirty and the side of the mouse. My mouse is a Logitech MX 510 (optical). I was going to use methalated spirits as it is a good cleaning agent?

What do you guys use?

I've never actually cleaned my mouse, I buy new mice fairly frequently, and they don't seem to get dirty... I use Isopropyl alcohol as well to clean my keyboard though.

alcohol or hydrogen peroxide ae what i use...and i clean it with cotton balls...as for the keyboard..i dot hat very rarely, and just pop out all the keys and set them in a sink of soapy hot water...lol

isopropyl works brilliantly... i speaking of which i need a new mouse... mine is starting to rattle... but it works! left clicker tends to stick tho
