Anyone know much about a D-Link 808HV?

http://www.d-link.com/products/?pid=273

Currently looking for this locally (i have my doubts though)...

currently one of the newest Routers available with EXtreme speed internet WAN... (10/100) and some pretty powerfull Firewall and other features...

It's the only thing that allow me to take full advantage of my current internet speed.. (current 10 baseT full duplex WAN ports limit my download speed )

How do i know this?

pretty simple... hook the modem directly to the computer.... run it at 10 baseT full duplex just like the router reports.. run a speed tests..... now change it to 100 baseT full duplex (auto negotiation also see it as 100 baseT full duplex supported).... and run the speed tests.... pretty obvious...

now i recently was having issue with my internet... completely resolved... now i have to find a solution to my router holding me back....

804 and 808..... both have the same support... but the 808 looks a we bit better... and considering it has 4 more ports... why not..(currently at my limit which sucks as i've 2 computers here i'd really like to hook up...

No_Style is on a distinguished road

I want..

I want a 1 GBit "router".. They have switches, but no router. It looks alright. What does Future Shop have in store for you? (LOL )

What kind of router do you have now? I have a Linksys BEFSR41 and it supports 100 MBit..

Decent "router". Didn't need to break the piggy bank for it It's lasting me..oh 3 years now?

I want this if I have extra money I do lots of file transfers between PCs and it would be sweet...
