Whats a Controller Card do, is it important , and why, what happens if you have a cheap one!!

Yeah... if your mobo doesn't have a RAID controller built into it and you want RAID, you will have to get one of those.

i think he emant they cost mroe voerseas due to shippign and import tarrifs...but yes...they are extremely costly...es[ecially a 3com or an escalade or another name brand high end one
