PLEASE HELP!!! i keep getting a install shield error NOW ON DOOM3

Oh my god !!!!!! every program that uses install shield i get a error:

1607: Unable to install installshield scripting runtime.

EVERY FREAKING GAME... JUICED DEMO SPIDERMAN 2 DEMO adobe acrobat 6.0.2 update DOOM3 ECT...

This is driving me crazy... i had this patch to fix the problem that i got from the site but theres an error when i freaking try to install the fix.. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER WHAT TO DO And i must fix this

When i try to install the ISScript9.msi
get this error: Error 1305.Error reading from file C:\Documents and Settings\nate\my documents\isscript9.msi. Verify that the file exists and that u can access it.

Well obviously the file is there cuz im installing it from there.. i tried to dl it agian but i get the same error.
After that error i click retry
and it says: Internal Error 2755. 1622, C:\Documents and Settings\Nate\My documents\ISScript9.msi

PLEASE someone help me im really really really getting tired of this damn error its really messing stuff up

make sure you are on an admin account, and also perhaps try safe mode

I TRIED EVERY THING :cry: I DO NOT want to reformat
IM getting soooo hopeless i tried checkdisk i tried starting from setup i tried erasing the virtual drives i tried renaming i tried granting access PLEASE I BEG SOMEONE!@!

I had a similar problem with installshield and it was because my memory was overclocked and created errors.

Maybe you should do a memtest+

or perhaps fire off a PM to Net since he/she seems to have a very high skill level in these areas

Check to make sure you didn't accidently disable anything mandatory in services.msc

InstallShield ISScript Repair

Scroll down to version 9, or whatever version suits you.

Installshield Error page

E-mail them if you have more problems.

EDIT: I guess you've tried those, but just in case, I'll post them anyways.

I had this exact same problem, and tried EVERYTHING that I could find anywhere. Unfortunatly, it ultimatly ended up in a reinstall
