Justifying RAM Purchase!
2 sticks of Crucial 512MB PC3200 = $266 CAD
2 sticks of Corsair XMS 512MB PC3200 = $350 CAD I'm using 2 sticks of Crucial 512MB PC2700 right now, but in the near future (if I sell my old PC parts) I'll be able to purchase new RAM or New RAM with Logitech X-2200s ![]() I'm leaning greatly on the 2 sticks of Crucial because it costs a lot less. Keep in mind I'm not going for future proofing seeing how my next CPU/Memory upgrade will not come until Longhorn hits and 64-Bit settles in (Yes, I'm serious! )What do you guys think? Will my 2.4B @ 3.24 GHz thrive significantly more with the Corsairs or will they do just as well with the Crucials? (I'm thinking the latter) I just don't want to make sure, even though I've already got my mind set.

I'd go for the Crucial ram at that price, I doubt you'd see much, if any difference with the Corsair ram.
OCZ ram could be nice too, $268 CDN for 2 sticks of 512MB cas 2 ram. |

To confirm again...
Maximum PC did an article a few months ago and rated several brands of PC 3200 DDR, Crucial did as well as any and overclocked surprisingly well. They sell enthusiast ram (Ballistix) now too...
