Where to put new HD for best cooling?
OK So I've got a Chieftec case that is most similar to the Antec PlusView 1000 case. Here is a picture of the front area from the inside for reference: http://www.insideproject.com/Reviews...inside_big.jpg
So as you can see, there is space for an intake fan at the very bottom, and for another intake fan inside the hard drive bay just above that. Right now I have 2 hard drives in the hard drive rack that has the fan; one at the top and one at the bottom. Now here's the question. I am about to get a new hard drive soon. Should I put it in between the two hard drives that I currently have (limiting airflow to the rest of the case, but making sure that air will blow on the hard drive), or should I put it in the hard drive bay ABOVE that one (no fan to cool it, but air from the other fan will still get into the case). I am trying to consider all factors (temps of hard drive as well as temps of the rest of the case/components) Thanks!

I'd put it above, to make sure the rest of the case gets it's airflow. I've never seen problems with hard drives overheating, unless the case had very poor airflow.
