Which One.....?????

I've been spending the last couple of nights trying to narrow down which Ram to get for my new computer. I've narrowed it down to these two choices. I would like some opinions from someone on which might be better.

OCZ- I just got a stick of pc3200 2-3-2-5 and it works great. You might want to research what chips those use though.. CH-6 maybe?

-that new XMS uses those new samsung chips that can run 2-2-2-5 all day long at very high frequencies..

I'd get the OCZ ram, their company looks as if it offers great support.

An AMD Athlon 64 3800+ and the Epox Ep-9NDA3+. I've been reading some reviews on these two brands of memory, and the reviewers say that these particular memories are geared more toward the P4s. Will they work on AMD systems without any problems?

yes, they are geared for P4's, that's why I asked
not sure if they will work. they probably would, but A64's have been know to be picky about the RAM used.
I'd suggest you look into some lower-latency pc3200/3500 RAM. something with 2-3-2 timings or so.

After looking at prices of memory and with your recommendations, vampyromaniac, I think I'm going stay with the memory I am using in my current system, which is Twinmos Twister PC3700. At least in one area of building this new computer, I won't be spending a ton of money.

I ran that same OCZ ram in multiple A64 boards and never had a problem. They topped off at 275MHz but that was a board limitation. Definitely go OCZ...

Edit- Just seen you had PC3700...stick with that
