Keep in mind: High Performance and Low Noise

I dont like the ZNF line but the VNF's seem excellent for the price. Can't go wrong for $80

Nah, that cant be right. Its just that there's nothing better for $300. If you're waiting for someone to recommend a P4 then you can get a P4 3.0GHz for about $230 but its not worth it IMO. With a mobo that will set you over the $300 limit. But I'm not a P4 kinda guy, if you want to pay more for less it is your choice bud. There's only two directions you can go with this

hmmm, that 848 chipset doesn't look very good. single-channel RAM, and you know how much the P4 needs the bandwidth.
