Fan color order CRAP

I am sleeving my cpu fan cable, and i forgot what order the colors go in. With the clips face down and the back of the connector toward you, I forgot which way it goes:

Black yellow green
or
Black green yellow

please help...

if you can... find the same retail package on the net that has a good picture of the heatsink or fan....

The colours on mine are black, red, yellow.

Try it out on a 9V battery or short a spare psu to life and try it out with a molex - 3 pin fan adaptor.

The yellow should be the signal wire for fan speed monitoring, assuming the black is neg (-ve) then the green should be pos (+ve)
