PSU power

Didn't know where to put this thread so I'll try here.

Is there a way to determine how much power is being drawn out of the PSU? Like I have a 350w Enermax and alot of drives, fans and a x800XT video card to top it off. I want to measure power consumption to see how much room is left in the ol' PSU.

Hmmm..just read a review where they tested most of the ATI cards and the x800XT uses up 65w under load, which is actually the same as the 9800XT, but still a decent load.

Not to hijack the thread but i have the same psu and was wondering if it would power an athlon 64 system with a couple optical drives and a large harddrive and a 9800pro?

Probably... rememeber that hard drive size doesn't change their power requirements, and you probably won't be using both optical drives at the same time as your video card is running full tilt.

Man, I must be psuhing my luck with my 350w then. I have 3x80mm case fans, Volcano 7 HSF, 1 HDD, 2 opticals, 2500+ o/c to 3200 at 1.75v, and the x800XT PE video card.

I think it's time to upgrade the PSU to be safe. I've had this Enermax for almost 4 years anyhow.

I wouldn't upgrade "just to be safe", unless you're having problems, or think that you could benefit from more stable voltage, or something like that...
