Onboard SATA Controller VS Promise

Hey folks,

I recently picked up a Promise SATA controller /w raid for a very low price. Currently I'm running off the on-board controller listed per my specs below. Do you think it's worth while for me to install the Promise controller? I only have two HD's, and don't really plain to raid just yet.

I wouldn't bother with the card just yet. No reason to, really . . . performance will be just about the same . . . CPU usage might be lower, but when you have 3500MHz, I doubt you'd care about a couple cycles during disk access. Anyway, that's my opinion
