TV Cards??

Ok....my room mates whore the TV and watch anime all day (yuck), so it's time to buy a TV card

my question si what do yall reccomend? money is not a problem(up to about $200)

I am currently looking at the ATi HDTV Wonder card...anyone have this?

grog does, I think he loves it.
you should take into account how many buildings there are around you, though. might affect your signal.

i was told the compro tech gold one on newegg was the best, ill dig the link up for you in a bit.

oops, I was referring to the ATI HDTV wonder card, which uses an antenna for HDTV.
so, no it doesn't matter if you have cable, for the over-the-air HDTV.
but, it does do regular cable TV also, so you can have both.

The HDTV signal may or may not be sent in its entirety over the cable connection though - most actually don't (the kind of standard signal that the HDTV card wants to see) - check with your cable company to see if the same over-the-air HDTV signal is being sent to your TV over their cable system...

i'm rather very impressed with the AIW cards as well... i just kinda disapointed about how ati has setup the controls..... it's rather rediculious how the the volume controls mess each other up
