Help! USB wireless card not working.
Okay so I have this problem and its the same problem I've had with other USB wifi adapters.
I'm using windows XP with Service Pack 2 and the network card is a Lucent Orinoco GOLD USB client. Basically I install the card and it seems great but it wont show up in my network devices. It shows up under network cards in my hardware profile...great...but I cant USE the darn thing. In "My Network Connections" It just shows my LAN port. Someone told me it has to do with something called Wireless0config or something like that...anyway I cant get this darned thing to work and I'm hoping someone can help me.

"Wireless Zero Configuration" is a Windows service.
type services.msc in the Run box, and scroll down through the services, see if it's set on Disabled, Manual, or Automatic
