Dual Monitors

If I run dual monitors with only aim on one screen is it going to affect my Fps in games by a significant amount?

won't effect it one bit....or shouldn't.. i've not noticed anything..

I run with winamp/MSN/Teamspeak/ and generally all my needed stuff on my secondary and run my games and other programs on my primary.. with it disabled or enabled.. i get pretty well zero dropps in results across all games.... even 3dmark03 shows zero degradation...

theoretically i guess it should...but it really doesnt. i ran dual for a very long time...having aim, xfire, ventrilo, and ASE running on my second monitor. if you use an NV card, just make sure not to enable Nview, as the new version is ineffecient and will cause mouse stutter/lag in your games.

well it WILL use up a bit of gpu resources.... but it's so small.. seeing as it's 2D and is basically already sitting in the system memory and just running through the secondary ramdac....

? you try dual?..... you have the EXTEND the desktop... in the advanced display properties...

yea, basically you just drag windows across...just like the gap wasnt there and you had one wider monitor. i always had problems trying to get "child" windows to spawn on the correct monitor, it wanted to center on the main...even when it's parent window was on the second monitor.

Right click properties, settings... Click monitor 2... and check extend the desktop, and configure it to fit the way you want it from there
