Keep Crashing to Desktop!!-Help

Hey guys..I need some advice and help if possible..My pc keeps crashing to desktop. if i play any of my games for like 5 minutes and it crashes to the desktop. I updated my bios and test all my hardware is fine..Here are my specs:

cpu : amd xp 3200+ W/original heatsink
420 watt ps
mobo : GA-7n400-l
memory : Dimm1-256 ddr400 samsung pc3200,Dimm2-512 ddr400 elixir pc3200,Dimm3-256 ddr400 samsung pc3200,Dimm4-None
sound: Soundblaster Audigy-ES
Graphics card: Geforce4 mmx420
Directx 9.0b
5x 8mm case fans
CPU temps range from 43-49 C
winxp sp1

I just recently installed 512 elixir memory and audigy card and started to crash to desktop. i test if there were a virus. no virus after i did a full scan.. then i reformatted my pc and installed fresh winxp..

run memtest for a good amount of time..that will see if it's a problem with your memory. if that's not it, then try removing the audigy and see if that clears it up.

try playing with 1 stick in at a time if you dont wanna wait for memtest. try the sticks in different slots and see how things go. Try putting the 2 samsung in the first channel and the 512 in a seperate channel. and like he said try removing the audigy or reinstalling the drivers

thanks for replying guys i think it might be an issue with my gigabyte mobo . it has duel channel mode might have a conflict with ill try a memtest and c if not ill go by try 1 stick at a time worse comes to worse reinstall audigy
