Ram Question please help

Looking to add some more ram to one of my computers, when I run CPU-Z it shows the memory as being PC2300 with a frequency of 133mhz, although I can't seem to find pc2300 anywhere>
Can I use PC2100 in its place?

yes, PC2100 runs at 133MHz, so it should work.
the "PC2300" might be a typo.
you might want to buy PC3200 (200MHz) instead, though. it will run at 133MHz if that's what you need, and you might be able to make use of its higher speed capability later, if you ever upgrade your motherboard. the price difference should be minimal.

Its only a 2ghz system so I'm thinking that pc2100 should be enough, if my brothers/parents system so their footing the bill and won't end up upgrading it so I'll probably go with 2100. And actually it(PC2300) might be a typo as it was the newest version of CPU-Z that I ran, but the previous version that I ran had said 2100 I think.
Thanks for the help man

I have little to do with the production or design of any of the products, actually nothing really; my job is too ensure that all the engineers, production people are comfortable, have lights to see, and that the building looks good and stays intact.
