ZEN PORTABLE MEDIA CENTER Help needed
I bought one of theses things instead of the archos because I have a media pc conected to my tv. The problom is every show I tried to sync and send over to it using WM10 I kept getting errors saying error unable to send because of possibly wrong media. It was right of of media center 2004 so what could be the problem. ALsio if I chose to take back this crap bucket for a archos can I convert xp media center video to it.

sounds like you ripped some stuff in DRM by accident. do you have any knowledge of any DRM protected files?

Well I figured out the DRM problem. But now how do I convert the video to the p;layer every site talkes about it and in the instructions talkes about it but no one says where it is or how to do it. So my new error is unable to allocate no file size has been set. I also get cannot convert the file to the format required. That seems strage as it is there file format. But I think if I can figure out the conversion that will fix it.

I have an update. I found out the file type coming up is extension DVR-MS not WMV. I tried beyond tv and it worked because it created the file type WMV so why will the xp media center not have the right file typ makes no sence to me.

just make sure that you record into a usable format (i assume wmv works right), and make sure you have the "copy protect files" unchecked in the WMP options. that should set you straight.
