USB Flash Drive won't work

My 256MB SanDisk USB Flash Drive won't work correctly. I try to access it from My Computer... it stalls for about a minute then says it needs to be formatted to work... OK? I have data on it (I don't care about losing it), but it still says it. So I right click, wait a minute, click Format, and it does nothing.

Also tried Adminstrative Tools >> Computer Management, but it has an error, and sometimes an illegal op. When I remove the USB drive, and go back into Computer Management, it works fine.

Happened after I installed the latest nForce drivers (I did use DriverCleaner). I got to get it working without reformatting, because I need it for my class.
