dulittle is on a distinguished road

peak transfer rate...

I noticed that the Intel 865 and 875 between the NB and SB is 266mb's a sec. Is this a noticable bottle neck? I have never build a P4 machine and have nothing to go on, but the wise word from you guys. Thanks for your time.

i imagine it is, yes, but as the 875 + ICH5R is currently the setup of choice among most p4 people i know, I must say there doesn't seem to be a better way to go at the moment unless you go up to the new socket types
