Mouse Trails

My monitor shows trails of the mouse on my 17" crt monitor. The windows option for this is turned of and its only happening on one of my dual monitors. Any thoughts?

If the background is white and the mouse pointer is white... and the monitor refresh rate is at it's optimal... you'll get that... even on the best of monitors there will be SOMEWHAT of a mouse trail under those condition..

try uping the refresh rate a bit ... it might be just a characteristic of the monitor

Graphics card is a mobile radeon 345m i believe. The background is black and all the refresh rates are hidden when you click the one to hide rates that your monitor can not display. The monitor isnt used for gaming so I dont know.
