Default Post realplayer.... it isn't that bad

We all hate the bloated RealPlayer and some of us (including myself) hate it so much that we have (or had) decided to just not install it.

I recently decided that I'd give the player another chance just for the hell of it. My initial impression was very bad, however, after some playing with it, I managed to make the player better, almost useful !

Since I know most of you hate the player so much that you won't even give it enough time to learn to fix the bloat, I've made a guide. It's very helpful . Trust me, RealPlayer feels like Winamp now (though Winamp whoops its ass any day )!

I think the main reason that people think it's bloated is because of that crappy "browser" thing that is attached to it. Realplayer makes it very hard to find out how to turn it off. However, the first step in my guide turns it off . Here goes:

Press CTRL+B (while Realplayer is running)

Go to Tools-->Preferences--><expand the "Connections" tree>-->InternetSettings
Disable EVERYTHING

Now, starting over, go to Tools-->Preferences-->AutomaticServices
Disable EVERYTHING

Now, to the left, under AutomaticServices, you should see AutomaticUpdate. Click it.
Disable it.

Close Realplayer. Now, start Realplayer. Isn't it more responsive now?

This is the latest version of RealOne Player. Also, I don't have anything against quicktime itself, I just don't like the quicktime FORMAT for movies.
