What is a good gpu cooler?

Hi. Looking for a good gpu cooler for a 9800pro. I know the Thermaltake Extreme Giant III is good, but also know that it makes a terrible noise, wich i dont like cuz ill soon have 2 pcs in my livingroom. And I have heard that the zalman heatzink coolers are not so effective and not so good for overclocking. Any sugestions ????

look into the ATI silencer series.

Yeah Artic Cooler VGA Silencer. There is a guide on Driver Heaven for it, showing how to install it on a 9800Pro ( Also good for 9500, 9700 and 9800, PRO and non-PRO)

yep, Arctic Cooling is the way to go

I have a version of it on my 6800GT, works great. just make sure you clean everything well and use either AS5 or Ceramique on it.

Im happy with my artic cooling vga silencer as well. nice and quite. does a good job of keeping it cool 2. the fact that it takes up 2 pci slots is a downfallthough.

Surely you don't need these 2 slots. Usually motherboards have 6 slots. I use one for modem, sound and perhaps something else I don't remember...
